Technique:
Embossed crochet: a combination of front post and back post double crochet

Abbreviations:
Traditionally, embossed crochet patterns only included charts and used complex abbreviations, making them less accessible. To simplify, I’ve shortened traditional abbreviations (e.g., FPdc = F, BPdc = B, FPdc2inc = F2i, FPdc2tog = F2t). While these require a brief learning curve, they are intuitive and easier to follow

Baby (Lapghan, Throw): 72.5 x 91 (99 x 124, 125.5 x 155)cm/ 28.5 x 35.8 (39 x 48.8, 49.4 x 61)’’.

Recommended materials:

• Scheepjes Colour Crafter (100% Premium Acrylic, 100g/ 300m/ 328.1yds/ DK/ #3 yarn weight). 7 (12, 20) skeins/ 650 (1200, 1930)g/ 1950 (3600, 5790)m/ 2133 (3938, 6333)yds including 650 (1150, 1870)g for blanket and n/a (50, 60)g for tassels.

• Crochet hook 4mm. If using a bigger hook, allow extra yarn.
