The fabric is entirely composed of 2/2 cabling on the RS to give a basketweave effect. Naturally, this is also very warm and toasty for the tot-- and the effects possible with different yarns are fantastic. There is no armhole shaping, but the sleeves do have a slight cap. Hat is knit flat and seamed.
