In which only a couple of small, clever details turn this design from a handsome unisex one to a very feminine piece. Both models sport dropped shoulders with flat sleeve caps (the better to work the trinity stitch). But on the frilled version, the shawl collar is shaped with unwrapped short rows-- wrap them if you like that better-- and finished with massive increases before you cast off. The lower border is picked up from the body and ribbed down, then increased and finished in the same way. A glorious, rich way to use a solid colour.
