This cozy cowl features a beautiful blend of soft pastel hues that evoke the late summer sunsets here in Oregon. Knit in Noro Akari and Akari Solo, a soft cotton blend yarn that feels next-to-the-skin-soft, this chevron cowl is both stylish and comfortable. It’s the perfect accessory to add a touch of color and warmth to any outfit, all year round.
- Yarn: 1 skein each of Noro Akari and Noro Akari Solo (26% silk, 21% cotton, 15% viscose, 14% mohair, 12% wool, 12% polyamide; 528 yds/200g); OR approximately 264 yards each of two colors worsted weight yarn, one semi-solid and one slow color changer
- Needles: 16” circular needles size US 8 (5.0mm), plus a second 16” circular needle size US 6-8 (4.0-5.0mm)
- Skill: knitting in the round, basic increases and decreases
- Size: 50” circumference x 6” width
- Gauge: 20 sts x 24 rows = 4” in Stockinette stitch and slipped stitch pattern on larger needle
