Whether your style is casual, or you lean more toward the elegant side, this shrug will be the perfect little piece to grab when you need a little something to cover your shoulders. The superwash merino will cover you in silky softness.
The rich hand-painted colors in this yarn work up really nicely in the knit and purl texture patterns in this quick knitting shrug.
I like combinations of garter and stockinette, along with garter rib. Simple as these stitches are, they can be worked up in stunning combinations. The raglan shaping on the back armholes means this cute piece fits nicely without binding under the armholes. Since this shrug is intended to fit closely across the back, I’ve sized this pattern with 2” (5 cm) increments so that you can get a better fitting garment.
