Twiga Hoodie
Errata: Contrast Color : color #590 : 1 (1, 1, 1, 2, 2) skeins
“The Twiga hoodie is knit seamlessly, in stockinette, from the bottom up to the hood, with raglan sleeve shaping, a seed stitch hem and right front border, hood, and an asymmetrical front opening with toggles. Hood is knit seamlessly with the sweater and shaping is worked at the back of the hood, with a saddle-shoulder style top. This lends itself perfectly for a little pair of horns and ears! Horns are made using knotted i-cord and ears are knit separately, then sewn on. Optional mittens are knit separately, then sewn onto the sleeves and have a flip top feature so that they can be flipped back and buttoned to the side of the sleeve. Small areas of giraffe markings are worked in intarsia on the front, back, hood & mittens. The bulky yarn is soft, washable and warm!
‘Twiga’ is the Swahili name for giraffe and is an ode to these marvelous creatures.”*
