Turtle Hat
YARN, GAUGE, SIZE AND MACHINE Most mid-gauge and bulky machines can knit the bulkier version of this hat. It takes about 5 oz. of worsted weight yarn knitted at a gauge of 4 stitches/6 rows per inch. A second gauge for standard and Passap is made with fingering weight yarn that gets 7 stitches/10 rows per inch. Sizes are 17, 19, and 21” in circumference to fit little kids, big kids and adults.
