Turband
Pony beads add even more glamour to a turban headband. This chunky-yarn beauty is scrunched together in the middle with a crocheted tab – either plain or beaded – or a yarn wrap.
The beads are worked into the headband as you crochet – no stringing or sewing involved….
In addition to crochet instructions for the Turband headband, this pattern also includes a separate PDF with a photo tutorial on how to attach the beads.
This advanced beginner/intermediate pattern is for adult sizes Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large to fit head sizes of 21, 22, 23, 24 in./53, 56, 58, 61 cm.
The pattern provides written instructions using American crochet terms. It’s been tested, and I’m always happy to answer any questions you may have.
YARN:
Any chunky weight yarn with gauge of 10 sc = 4 in./10 cm. You may also use a chunky-weight equivalent, such as two strands of light worsted-weight yarn held together.
You will also need approximately 45 to 60 plastic pony beads 6x9 mm.
