Tupelo Shawl
This garter stitch shawl uses an interesting intarsia technique to create a contrast color border. The picot border is worked simultaneously with the body making finishing a breeze.
YARN:
The Fibre Co. Canopy Worsted (50% baby alpaca, 30% merino wool, 20% viscose bamboo; 200 yds/100 gm skein): laguna (MC), 2 skeins + fern (CC), 1 skein.
GAUGE:
13 sts and 28 rows = 4” (10 cm) in garter stitch, after blocking.
NEEDLES:
1 - 24” or 36” US 10 (6.5 mm) circular, or size to obtain gauge.
SIZE:
22” deep, 46” wide.
