Tunisian Tennis Vest
Of all my Tunisian designs, this one is, by far, my favorite. I’ve been asked for this pattern many times - The [[Tunisian Tennis Vest](pattern).
Colorwork, stitch patterns and a silhouette that flatters everyone. Careful color placements, and the varying width of the different stitch patterns create a figure-enhancing shape without effort.
Deliberately designed with little waist shaping, it has room for a fitted blouse (because of the V-neck and open armholes) and can be dressed up with a wide belt.
The bodice of this tank is worked as a flat piece to the desired torso length. Your gauge will tighten slightly in the rows where you work all tss sts, and this creates the slight bit of shaping through the hips into the waist. Then the piece is seamed and the shoulder straps and neckline are worked directly onto the completed bodice. The final step is to add the ribbed edging.
Perfect for tweens through adults, with instructions for bust sizes 30 to 46 in one inch increments and independent length measurements from 19.5 to 26 inches, in 1/2 inch increments.
Stitched in a cotton/silk blend, it has drape and sheen and is perfect for Spring/Summer. Or choose something with a touch of cashmere for a softer, squishier warm layer.

Cashmere blend recommendations-
Classic Elite Princess (This yarn is listed as worsted, but it’s very soft and works up like DK in Tunisian crochet.)

I love this vest and have made 2 of them for myself and one for a friend. It’s so versatile with color schemes, and wearability.
