About
The Tulip Twirl Skirt is lace skirt that can be made in two different versions. Either a fitted mini skirt with all-over lace and a ruffle hem or a 70s inspired all-over lace midi skirt.

The Tulip Twirl Skirt is worked top-down in the round starting with the waistband. The half twisted rib waistband is double layered by working a seamless elastic casing. For the mini skirt, eyelets are worked at the center front for the ties.

Then, increases are worked to shape the hips of the skirt. There are three options for the hip sizing to create a perfect custom fit. The mini skirt is finished with a dramatic ruffle hem whilst the midi skirt has two more lace sections.

The mini skirt has German Short Rows in the ruffle to lenghten the back of the skirt. The hems on both skirts are finished with purl details to match the waistband.
