Tulip Hat
While I was making flowers with eyelet ruffles for a pillow, I was trying different combinations of knit and purl rows and created the one that I liked so much I designed a hat using it. I used the eyelet ruffle at the beginning and then went into a 5 x 1 rib to give some stretch and texture to the body of the hat. I knit it with Blue Sky Suri Merino yarn because it has good stitch definition and it is so incredibly soft. The hat turned out
so cute and I thought that the flower that started it all would be the perfect finishing
touch.
