Tropicana (Guam)
Inspired by thinking of lush tropical foliage and flowers, this sock was designed in the tropical theme for Guam.
For those sock knitters who like/don’t like matching socks; this pattern is for you. These two socks are the opposite of each other! A large, beaded tropical flower in red on one and in orange on the other. Even the cuff edging is opposite in color with one row of edging on one and two rows of edging on the other!
Both of my designs (see also Sultry Lace -Mississippi) in the book feature the use of 1 short circular needle and the special heel and toe shaping I’ve found is optimal through my years of teaching.
