Tricolor Crochet Flower
A great stashbuster, this crochet flower can be made with any yarn, in any size, and in any color combination. Shown in citrus colors and 100% linen, the flower has textured petals and is reminiscent of a tropical hibiscus. Use your finished bloom as a decoration in your home, a hair accessory, a pin, or an adornment on a hat!
With DK yarn and a 2.25mm hook as shown, the flower will measure about 5 inches 12.7 cm across. With a worsted weight yarn and 4.0mm hook, the flower may measure up to 10 inches 25.4 cm across. Gauge is not important, but a tight gauge is recommended for petals that will hold their shapes.
