Trendy Trivet Set

A free version is also available.
I was inspired to design this set when I saw a knit set on Pinterest. I am not fond of knitting, so I designed a crochet set. They are very easy and quick to make.
Supplies Needed:
- Wooden rings: size 2” (45 mm) for 8” x 8” largest trivet and size 1.6” (40 mm) for the 5” x 5” coasters. I have purchased mine from Amazon in an assortment bag and also in individual bags at Hobby Lobby.
- Bernat Home Maker Dec yarn (for the demo set, I used Cream). Yardage will depend on how many you choose to make and which size you choose to make. 1 skein goes a long way with this set. You could also realistically use cotton yarn as a substitute. My favorite cotton blend to use is Lion Brand Comfy Cotton Blend, double strands held together.
- Crochet hook of your choice. (I used a size J 6.0 mm for the body and an F 3.75 mm hook to weave in tails.) -Scissors, measuring tape, and yarn needle. Terminology and Abbreviations Used: Pattern is written in US terminology. Chain(s) - ch(s) Fasten Off - FO Front Loop Only - FLO Single Crochet - sc Skip - sk Slip Stitch - sl st Space(s) - sp(s) Stitch(es) - st(s) Yarn Over - YO
Gauge:
Not necessary for this project due to the simple use of st multiples.
14 high-quality images included. It has been tested and edited.
I also have a YouTube video showing other designs you can do with the coaster. NOTE that I have changed the way I decrease from the video in this pattern due to the feedback from my testers. You can find the video at https://youtu.be/P1bc6HDXLVM
There are no refunds for digital patterns.
