by Lisa Jelle
Skill Level: Beginner
General Supplies:
• Hook: J hook
• Yarn: #3/Light weight (All light weight worsted yarns are NOT created equal. If your gauge doesn’t match, try using a lighter weight yarn before trying a smaller hook size)
• Ribbon: I used 5/8” width
• Sewing thread (optional) and needle: in color to match ribbon, to tack/stitch ribbon down so it doesn’t fall off.
• Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
• Stitch markers (optional)
Gauge: 10 sc/ch-1 sts x 11 rows= 2”x2” test swatch
Sizing: Pattern is written for Child size, with info for Adult size in ’s
Approximate measurements by size:
Child: 11” wide (not including ties)/7” tall/each tie 8” long
Adult: 13” wide (not including ties)/9” tall/each tie 10” long
