Traditional Tea Cosy
by Julia Hopson
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
I designed this tea cosy after many requests in the shop for a “traditional” tea cosy pattern. The technique isn’t new but I’ve explained it as concisely as I can and includes instructions for a bigger or smaller cosy.
Pure wool may seem a bit extravagant for a tea cosy but, being practical, it is the best fibre to keep your tea warm!
The pattern and wool can be bought at Knit Wits, Penzance.
Two skeins of Peruk DK is enough to knit the tea cosy and its matching hot water bottle cover.
