This pattern is knitted top down creating a seamless style. The collar area dip is formed with short rows.

I knitted size 28”, with some stash yarn I had, for my 2 year old son who is just now fitting into size 2T. It fits him pretty loosely, but I recommend measuring a favorite fitting sweater to choose the best size. The neckline is tighter than pictured and the stripes in the test knit are 15 rows each, but I encourage you to be creative!
