NOTE -
On Big Hare’s Left Foot, when you cast on 12 sts (Row 2, page 64) don’t knit to end of the row - instead carry on with the wrap and turns

The Big One and the Small One

Loosely based on that most famous childrens’ story book these are my take on those most endearing book characters and indeed that most endearing creature - the hare!

Mine are knitted flat with two knitting needles, joining as you go and shaping with short rows and pick up stitches.

I’ve stuffed them not too firmly so they have a cuddle element and can be posed ever-so slightly as you can see from my pictures.

Eyes-wise - toy safety eyes - small 8mm ones for Little Guy and for Big Guy - 15mm ones

Yarn-wise - I’ve used Drops Alpaca together with Kid-Silk (shades I knitted with and amounts are written within the pattern)
But if you like you can sub with similar - try yarnsub.com for that information.

NOTE: This pattern is a total of 58 pages containing a full set of written instructions with photographic illustrations, the Little Hare pattern being the last 17 pages

And I hope you enjoy knitting them!
They’d make a super present if gifted with ‘That’ book…
