TKGA Master Hand Level 1
The TKGA Master Knitting Program© is a non-competitive and rewarding achievement program for advanced knitters and consists of three levels. Program completion culminates in the presentation of the coveted TKGA Master Knitter title and pin.
In addition to knitting samples and garments from written instructions, you will prepare a notebook of research and answers to questions. The Master Knitting Committee will review everything thoroughly, using well-established criteria. It is not unusual for knit or research portions to be returned for rework with constructive suggestions for improvement.
Level 1 requires the completion of 17 swatches and a mitten.
