Finished bust circumference: 77.5 (85, 93, 99, 106.5, 114.5, 122) cm / 30½ (33½, 36½, 39, 42, 45, 48)“– to be worn with 0-5 cm / 0-2” positive ease
Model has 88 cm / 35” bust, stands 165 cm / 5’5” tall and is wearing a size 3.
Yarn: Sincere Sheep Cormo Sport (sport weight; 100% Cormo Wool; 366 m / 400 yds per 114 g skein)
Shade: Bare; 2 (3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4) skeins
Gauge: 23 sts & 32 rows = 10 cm / 4” over St st in the round on 3.75 mm needles after blocking.
Needles: 3.75 mm / US 5 circular needle, 80 cm /32” length for working yoke and body AND knitting needles suitable for working small circumferences in the round
3.5 mm / US 4 circular needle, 80 cm / 32” length for working yoke and body, AND knitting needles suitable for working small circumferences in the round
Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.
Notions: 2 locking and 2 regular stitch markers, scrap yarn or stitch holders, tapestry needle
Notes: Timbromania is worked seamlessly from the top down, beginning with a provisional cast-on. Sleeves and body stitches are separated, underarm stitches are added, and body and sleeve sections are worked to desired length. The provisional cast-on is then unpicked and the live sts used to work the neckband.
