Technique:
Overlay Mosaic Crochet with slanted stitches: each round is made with one color and consists of single crochet in the back loop (sc blo) and double crochet in the front loop (dc flo)

Stitches:
In addition to vertical dc, I also use slanted dc and extended dc (made one or two stitches back or forward), decreases, increases, and occasionally, front post stitches (there is a video and explanation for all stitches)

Sizes:

• S (M, L, XL, 2X, 3X)
• Model is size M/ 90cm/ 35 ½’’ chest, 93cm/ 36 ⅝’’ hips, 168cm/ 5’ 6’’ height, wears cropped by 4cm/ 1 ½’’ version of size M with 27cm/ 10 5/8’’ positive ease in chest and 9cm/ 3 ½’’ in hips.

Materials and Tools:

• Fingering/ 4ply yarn such as: Scheepjes Whirlette (60% Cotton x 40% Acrylic, 100g/ 455m/ 497.6yds)

Yarn1 (background):
4 (5, 5, 6, 6, 6) skeins/ 390(430, 460, 505, 530, 570)g,
Allow extra yarn for a longer version

Yarn2 (tiger):
2 (3, 3, 3, 3, 3) skeins/ 195(210, 225, 250, 265, 280)g

• Crochet hooks 3.5mm (foundation cord), 3mm (body), 2.5mm (2 final rnds of neck band).

• Tapestry needle, markers
