tie-top hat or neckwarmer
With the use of a drawstring, this versatile piece can be worn in two different ways. Leave the drawstring loose and wear it as a neckwarmer, or pull it tight and wear it as a hat. Choose 3 of your favorite coordinating colors to make the brick pattern. Less than a full skein is required of each color - a great project to use up some of your stash!
Basic stitches are used - chain stitch, double crochet, slip stitch, and single crochet. This is a good introduction to mosaic crochet for someone familiar with basic crochet stitches.
