Tic-Tac-Toveralls
These overalls are inspired by childish exuberance, carefree toddlerhood, belly laughs, and occasional stomping of little feet.
If you need a simple travel or TV knitting project, you can omit the intarsia in the bib. If you are up for a bit of fun and adventure, then intarsia is the name of the game! Moreover, using more than two colors in the intarsia section (or the entire piece) can be a great stash buster!
The overalls are worked from the bottom up, with each leg worked separately and in the round. After binding off a few sts in the inner thigh, the legs are joined to work the rise part of the pants. German short rows are worked to make the back slightly longer and roomier. After the pants are completed, stitches are bound off with only the bib stitches remaining. The bib is worked with intarsia method. The straps are worked two at a a time.
