Thorndale Big and Bigger are super sized yarn versions of my Thorndale hat design. The multi color Thorn Stitch pattern is simple to work and creates a beautiful textured detail. Using just one color per round, slip stitches and clever use of k2tog and ssk decreases create the multi color Thorn Stitch pattern.

The same size needles were used to create the Big and Bigger hats. The different gauges are due to the difference in the thickness of the yarns.
