Vintage buffalo plaid is back in style! This fur trimmed cowl scarf, neck warmer pattern is unique in that it uses super bulky yarn, making it not only thick and warm, but so quick that it can be crocheted in about an hour.

Materials used in the pattern are Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick yarn; however, any super bulky #6 weight yarn can be used. Three coordinating colors are used, using less than one skein of each color. Lion Brand Go For Faux yarn is used for the trim. Also needed is a US size N (10mm) crochet hook, yarn needle and scissors.

This pattern is written for one size and will fit a teen or adult.

The cowl is worked in horizontal rounds, carrying over yarn colors without cutting.
