The Swirly Sweater
The swirly sweater is a different kind of pattern! I designed this one to show off the “square sweater.”
Just a simple idea with a one-page worksheet to illustrate how you can make a sweater with a giant granny square in any design you’d like.
You can find that worksheet here: https://thesnugglery.net/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/Square-Sweater-Free-Crochet-Sweater-Template.pdf
I explain the worksheet and show you how I used it to make the swirly sweater in THIS video: https://youtu.be/I5K6QcfJlNs
and a sort of prerequisite for that video, is this one here…how to make the 4 color granny square: https://youtu.be/akeFxy5D28E
Even if you don’t make a whole sweater, I encourage you to check out the spiral granny square… It’s a really fun method I developed that can be grown to any size and lays flat! Plus once you get the spiral going, you don’t even need to count stitches. Highly recommended!
