The vest is knitted in two-color stranded knitting, bottom up in stockinette stitch, following diagrams. Steeking creates slits on both sides, and is also used for the armholes and neck opening.
The shoulders are knitted together, steeks are crocheted, cut, and sewn. Finally, the ribbed edges—neck, armholes, and hem with double-knit side slits—are added.

NOTE: this garment has only been test-knitted in one size, although carefully calculated. If you have any feedback feel free to contact me on ravelry.

Sizes: 1 (2) 3

One way of finding the right size is picking a sweater with the desired fit, measure it, and pick the finished garment size with the chest circumference closest to it.

OR measure your own circumference and choose a size that has a circumference circa 15-20 cm larger than yours. The 15-20 cm is the positive ease.

Finished Measurements of the garment

Chest Circumference: ca. 105 (120 ) 135 cm

Full length from back neck to hem: 52 (54) 56 cm

Body length armhole to hem: 29 (31) 33 cm
