The Ringmaster is a sideways knitted shawl that starts with knitting the garter body. While working the body you will continuously put stitches on scrap yarn and these are the stitches that afterwards are used to knit the border. This way you don’t have to bind of a bunch of stitches to after a while pick them up again, and no seaming is needed. Pattern uses a total yardage of:
Main Color (red): 273 yards / 250 meter
Contrasting Color (turquoise): 191 yards / 175 meter

The Ringmaster and The Lion Tamer have the same shawl body but use totally different techniques for the border. Which one is your favorite?
