The Pretty Threads
If you put three of my patterns in your cart for purchase, the fourth pattern will be free.
The Pretty Threads is 30% off through Saturday; just put it in your cart and it will automatically be discounted when you check out.
I thought this would be a nice, simple pattern to keep y’all out of trouble as you wait for the Perfect Blend MKAL (hence the discount).
Due to cultural appropriation, the original name has been changed from “Sari not Sari” to “The Pretty Threads.” The inspiration, however, remains the same. I love seeing how the colors are combined in saris, and often look at them for inspiration. It is designed in saturated colors to make a statement piece for your wardrobe.
“The Pretty Threads” was originally designed in Hedgehog Cashmere Merino which is now difficult to find but knits up as a light fingering and any fingering weight works well for this.
This is multi-tasking knitting all the way. There is nothing complicated about it so if you’re looking for complicated, there is nothing for you here!
Directions are given for making it wider and longer if you use a yarn with more yardage than the 328 yards of the Hedgehog Cashmere Merino.
Shape
This is a rectangle knit on the bias (which makes it a parallelogram.) Stitch counts remain the same in every row.
Skill Level
This pattern is suitable for beginning knitters who have made a few projects. It has seed stitch, garter, eyelets, and m1R and m1L stitches.
