Introducing the “Practically Perfect Potholder “ Pattern by Carroway Crochet. This potholder is perfect for protecting your hands while baking and handling hot dishes. It is made with two strands of 100% cotton held together as you work the special stich which give it this wonderful thick texture
This potholder can also double as a hotpad or trivet to stand hot dishes on.
You can make your potholders with your choice of worsted weight yarn as long as you use 100% cotton. It is not recommended to use acrylic yarn as it can melt when in direct contact with very hot items taken directly from the oven.
