This cowl was inspired by the Potentilla flower. It is from the ‘cinquefoil’ family. The name means 5 leaves but cinquefoils can have from 3-15 petals! The small cluster pattern reminds me of their delicate, heart-shaped petals.
Designed for my beginner crochet class, this cowl is a quick project perfect for the weekend. Worked in worsted weight yarn, the possibilities for fiber choice are endless!
Optional button is not shown in the pictures but can be added for a classic touch.
