The Karakul Mitten Project
“The goal for this project was a strong solid mitt that would stand up to snow, cold weather, and hauling wood. My mittens typically get a good workout, but more than once my handspun mittens have shrunk to the degree that they barely fit.
Karakul yarns are strong, and this one was spun to finish as a bulky yarn, which works up into a warm, tough mitten. With winter use it will felt and becoming even warmer and tougher. “
