I always liked the part in the The Grinch Who Stole Christmas story when his heart grew 3 times the size and he became the good Grinch but you can easily make him look mean by using yellow for the eyes with red or black pupils. The Grinch would make a fun toy, decoration or gift. He stands about 16 inches tall if using worsted weight yarn.
