The beanie is worked flat and uses the applied ribbing method to add the brim.

Yarn yardage: Calculated based on the averages from testers. Depending on the beanie you wish to make your yardage may vary. Toddler- 143 yards, Child-160 yards, Teen-180 yards, Adult Women-250 yards, Adult Male-270 yards.

Hook: 5mm/US H8 or hook size needed to obtain gauge AND 4mm/US G6 or 4mm

My sample is made with worsted weight yarn by Onyxfiberarts. Testers have found success with Lion Brand Heartland, Knit Picks Swish Worsted Speckle, Galway worsted, Caron Simply Soft, Hobby Lobby I love This Yarn Sparkle, Red Heart Super Saver Ombre, Red Heart Soft .
