The Fiberlass Shawl
FALL OFFER: Upon purchase of 3 of my patterns, you get the least expensive one for free! Offer valid until November 30, 2016!
This is a side-to-side triangular shawl, with an established slipped stitched+stripes pattern which is far easier that it looks. I believe it’s a very knitter-friendly pattern, especially to those who want to get into the “slipped stitches” colorwork, you really should give it a try. There is a beautiful story behind this shawl, a noble gesture by a nobleperson: Pam, (Rav ID “fiberlass”), a fellow knitter and top member in my Ravelry group, provided the yarn for this project as a “cheer-up” present to me, when Greece went into great financial crisis last summer (2015). Her positive attitude and support mean a lot to me and the least I could do was name the pattern after her! I hope you’ll enjoy knitting this as much as I enjoyed designing it!
