We all have that one skein of beautiful variegated yarn waiting for the perfect pattern to show it off….well look no further! The Tequila Sunset shawl was designed to showcase those coveted colourways. Pair with a solid, or semi-solid yarn and you are good to go. The pattern is knit from the top down with the middle panel worked in intarsia. Don’t be afraid of intarsia - it’s a cinch, I promise!
The side sections alternate between a simple lace repeat pattern and stockinette stripes.
It would work equally well with 2 solid colours – or if you are feeling adventurous you could even work with 3 yarns and have a different colour for each side section.
The finished shawl is a joy to wear and you will be sure to turn heads as you wrap it round your shoulders.
