Teddy is the perfect pullover for all the fun color ways of yarn A few simple cables that do not get lost in the colors along with interesting ribbing add just the enough detail to complement the yarn. The easy modern styling make it the perfect go to pullover.

The sample is cropped but the sweater can be made in any length. It is top down and there is no body shaping so you can just knit until the length is what you desire.

The sample is made with Spirit Trial Fiberworks Birte in the color way Hermitage. The yarn is nice to work with and has a good drape. The muted changing color way with fun little specks here and there is what inspired the design.

Yarn: Spirit Trail Fireworks Birte; 75% wool, 15% cashmere goat, 10% silk; 275 yds/251 m per 113g skein; color: Hermitage, 3 (4, 4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6, 7) skeins, 805 (875, 990, 1120, 1225, 1340, 1490, 1635, 1740) yards/735 (800, 905, 1025, 1115, 1225, 1360, 1490, 1590) m
Needles: Size 4/3.5mm 24”/60 cm (or longer) circular needle and set of 4 or 5 double-pointed needles.

Other: Locking markers, stitch markers, cable needle, stitch holders or waste yarn, tapestry needle
Gauge: 20 sts and 28 rows = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette Stitch.

Notes:
This drop shoulder pullover is constructed seamlessly from the top down. The back and front are are worked separately down to the underarm, where they are joined, then the body is worked down to the ribbed hem. Stitches are picked up around the armholes to work the sleeves from the top down. The length of the body and sleeves is easily adjusted.
