Tea Time Ensemble
The pattern includes a knit jacket and skirt, and a crocheted blouse, hat and purse.
Yarn: 1 ounce 3-ply fingering yarn for the jacket and skirt; 1 ball number 8 pearl cotton thread for the blouse, hat and purse.
Needles & hook: size 1 straight and double-pointed needles; size 6 steel crochet hook
Additional materials: 5 snap fasteners
Construction:
Jacket: bottom up; one-piece; sleeves picked up and knit
Skirt: bottom up; worked in the round to back opening; back placket with crocheted edging; snap at the waist
Blouse: body is crocheted, then mesh is added at top and bottom; crocheted edging along the back opening edges; back closes with four snaps
Hat: crocheted in one piece; may be starched for added stiffness
Purse: body is crocheted in one piece; handle is added
Sized for a Barbie-type doll with the 1960s figure: 5.5”-3.125”-5”. The fit may vary on modern dolls.
