Taraxacum is the scientific name for dandelion, and that’s what this unique stitch reminds me of. The mitts will keep your hands warm while leaving your fingers free to move, and they are easy and quick to knit.

Materials:
Yarn is: Malabrigo Rios (100% superwash merino; 210 yards 192 meters/100 grams): 57 English Rose, 1 ball.
Needles: Size US 5 (3.75 mm): double-pointed needles, 40” circular (for magic loop), or choice of needles for small circumference knitting.
Size US 6 (4 mm): double-pointed needles, 40” circular (for magic loop), or choice of needles for small circumference knitting.
Notions: Two stitch markers, scissors, yarn needle
Gauge: 20 sts and 33 rows = 4” 10 cm in St st after washing and drying.
Measurements: 6.5 – 6.75’’ (~16.6 - 17 cm) unstretched, 8.0’’ (~21.5 cm) stretched
