Tangled Galashiels 2025
Designed by Eildon Hills Designs, and inspired by the Tangled Galashiels 2025 theme, The Weaving Heritage of Galashiels and the Scottish Borders, this year’s Festival Pattern is a beautiful, fully reversible asymmetric crescent shawl with a striking stitch pattern! knitted side to side and only using 200g of 4ply / Sock yarn, the Tangled 25 shawl is very cosy and versatile to wear, with bands of contrasting colours gently curving to provide a comfortable fit. The striking stitch pattern is easier than it appears, making for a very relaxing knit, and giving the shawl a very unique multi-layered texture.
There are so many colour options available for this pattern! You can either use 2 contrasting full skeins, 2 skeins of the same colour, 1 full skein and a set of mini skeins, 2 sets of mini skeins, stash yarns etc…!
The stitch looks great in both hand dyed and natural colours, it is such a fun canvas to play with!
