The Tallac coat is a top-down raglan hooded coat knit in fluffy teddy yarn held double. It is worked seamlessly top down in garter stitch.
The pattern includes links to video tutorials.
SIZES
3 (6, 12, 18, 24) months.
YARN
2 (3, 4, 5, 5) skeins of Rowan Soft Bouclé (45% cotton, 23% alpaca, 22% merino, 10% polyamide). 50 grams /100 meters.
Yarn is held double throughout!
Sample is worked in colorway 608.
NEEDLES
— 9 mm / US 13 circular needle, cable length 60 cm / 24” (or needle size to obtain gauge).
Swatch to find the right needle size for your own tension and yarn choice.
GAUGE
11 sts x 15 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” in garter stitch worked flat on larger needle after blocking.
NOTIONS
Blocking tools, scissors, darning needle, scrap yarn or stitch holder for holding underarm stitches, stitch markers and tape measure.
I used 1 toggle button for fastening.
