Take-Me-Home Swaddle Blanket
Swaddling is an ancient method of soothing a newborn by wrapping her snugly in a blanket. A baby with her arms tucked in close and snug in a wrapped blanket will drift off to sleep easier. Some say swaddling reminds a baby of her mother’s womb. This blanket made using a simple stitch pattern. Start it early. Knit a few inches each night, and in nine months, this blanket will b ready for the hospital bag. Knit in machine-washable wool, it is an easy-care choice for new parents scrambling to find enough time in the day to do all of the household chores.
Knit with two strands of yarn held together throughout.
