Syrah Swancho
Let’s take a trip to a vineyard for some red wines
Or let’s take a trip to the yarn stash to make the Syrah Swancho, named for the Syrah grape that is jammy, fruity and spicy.
This is a sweater+poncho crochet pattern that is size-inclusive in grouped sizes from bust 28 to 62 and modest length that sits at the hip when your arms are relaxed.
The Syrah Swancho requires knowledge of double crochet and treble crochet. A tutorial link is included in the pattern for the X-stitch, which is made from two connected treble stitches that cross. The pattern includes pictures for reference and easy printing.
The combination of simple stitches and lace section makes the Syrah Swancho the perfect layering garment. By using a sport weight yarn, you will achieve amazing drape.
