Swirlaway Scarf
One of my most popular patterns, the Fantastic Shawl, inspired this Swirlaway Scarf…making it a “cousin”. While the Fantastic Shawl uses short rows for shaping, Swirlaway is much simpler with an eight-row repeat where only one row creates the shaping through strategic placing of increases and decreases. By using different color combinations from monochromatic to multi-colored, the variations are endless. Likewise, how the scarf is draped works for ever-changing looks…thus, a simple scarf that is easy to knit and fun to wear.
