NOTES
-
This cowl is worked in the round, beginning with a provisional cast-on. The cowl is worked to twice its finished height, then the last round is joined to the provisional cast-on round using a garter stitch graft to create a doubled fabric with no wrong side.
-
The main color (MC) is consistent throughout, but the contrasting color (CC) will change, depending on the round. Refer to the Contrasting Color Table on page 3 for when to use contrast colors for each 8-round repeat of the Honeycomb pattern.
-
Slip stitches purlwise with yarn in back. Keep floats loose when slipping stitches.
-
Do not break MC at color changes; carry it along the inside of the cowl until needed again. Break working CC after Rounds 5 and 8.
