Center of coverlet is worked in single crochet with a border of 48 eyelet square motifs. Embroidery and Cross-Stitch letters are added after the blanket is assembled.

Coats & Clark Red Heart yarns were used for the coverlet. You will need 10 skeins eggshell (MC) and 1 skein new camel (CC) sport yarn. The centers of the motifs and the embroidery are worked with Persian Type Needlepoint and Crewel yarn, You will need 2 skeins each of daffodil, pastel green, dark coral, baby blue, light violet and aquatone.

Motif measures 3.25 inches square.
