Lots of knitters at Jessica Knits are making this striking baby blanket for the wee ones in their life! Gray is THE color for babies right now and mixing gray with blue, pink, or another soft color is a great way to match those nursery colors.
The Sweet Dreams Baby Blanket is a great project for beginning knitters, but any knitter will appreciate its simple beauty. Starting at the center using your favorite in-the- round method, you can change colors any time to create your own personalized blanket. Lots of stockinette gives new knitters the opportunity to practice their tension, and garter stitch adds a bit of challenge and interest. The picot binding is well worth the time for a delicate edging, or you can choose to finish in garter stitch for a more classic look.
