Swedish Nostalgia Shawl to Knit
Carol Huebscher Rhoades provides instructions for knitting this captivating shawl in two sizes—one for a mother and the other for a daughter. The merino/silk yarn is perfect for keeping one warm while curled up with a good book. Peeking out from under the shawl is a page from Celia Dackenberg’s first book, Sparat: Små stickade kläder från vår barndom (Saved: Small Knitted Clothing from our Childhood; Stockholm, Sweden: Rabén Prisma, 1996).
Book courtesy of Celia Dackenberg.
