Florence is a city that houses masterpieces of Renaissance architecture and art. The Florence sweater is embellished with a fancy central braid inspired by the beautiful Italian city I was lucky enough to visit last summer.

The Florence sweater is constructed as a raglan sweater, worked in the round, from the top down, in one piece, without seams. After completing the yoke, the body and sleeves are separated and each piece is worked individually in the round. A braid runs down the center front and continues throughout the body, up to just before the ribbing.

For long sleeves (4, 4, 5) 5, 5, 5 skeins.

Florencia es una ciudad que alberga obras maestras de la arquitectura y el arte renacentista. El sweater Florencia está adornado con una vistosa trenza central inspirada en la hermosa ciudad italiana que tuve la suerte de visitar el verano pasado.

El Sweater Florencia es un proyecto de manga raglán, se teje en tubular, desde arriba hacia abajo, en una pieza, sin costuras. Al terminar de tejer el canesú́ se separan el cuerpo de las mangas y se teje cada parte individualmente. Al centro del delantero va una trenza que se mantiene por todo el cuerpo hasta antes de la pretina.
